During these strange times, we’ve been catching up with our colleagues to hear all about their lockdown stories! Here’s what our Customer Support Manager Kirsty had to say…
Describe lockdown in 3 words.
Coronacoaster (all the emotion), family, surreal.
What’s been the hardest thing about lockdown?
I’d say homeschooling has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced during lockdown – turns out my student doesn’t like me! I make her work harder and have bigger expectations (apparently). Although it’s been hard, teaching my daughter has given me some very rewarding moments. Add a 2 year old to the mix, it’s definitely kept me on my toes!
What’s been the best thing about lockdown?
TIME! Family time has always been precious, but having more of it has been amazing. We have enjoyed quality time with each other and will be making lasting changes from what we’ve learnt during lockdown.
Tell us something funny that has happened in lockdown.
I bought some new plants for my garden at the beginning of the lockdown; it’s not my thing and I hate gardening. Several weeks had passed and I was feeling really proud of myself for keeping all 6 plants alive. It was all going so well…..until I found the wicks! I had been watering citronella candles that looked like plants ???? I haven’t lived it down since and probably shouldn’t be sharing this information!
