During these strange times, we’ve been catching up with our colleagues to hear all about their lockdown stories! Here’s what our Marketing Manager Debbie had to say…
Describe lockdown in 3 words.
Intense, weird, family.
What’s been the hardest thing about lockdown?
Having to entertain a toddler constantly without leaving the house is tough! Our family is in the vulnerable group so we are shielding, meaning we haven’t been to any shops or public places. In fact, we’ve not left the house much at all since the start of lockdown other than the occasional walk or socially distanced drop off/pickups.
What’s been the best thing about lockdown?
Having Angelo, my husband, work from home means we all get to spend more time together as a family. Usually, he has around an hour commute each way so having that extra time really makes a difference.
Tell us something funny that has happened in lockdown.
Flora, my daughter, has been so good at social distancing since the start of lockdown that she now has a ‘socially distance’ role-playing game, where she tells us she can’t come out to play until “this is all over”.
I’m not actually sure if that’s funny or worrying but it did make me laugh!
